The Attorney General established the Regulated Paralegal Working Group in Spring 2024 to develop recommendations to the Ministry of Attorney General regarding the scope of services regulated paralegals may provide. The report was released for public consultation, with an online survey open until February 27, 2026. The BCPA shared the survey with members on January 13, 2026.
The BCPA has prepared their response, which can be found attached to this post. The Board of Directors remains committed to ongoing collaboration and welcomes continued dialogue to support the successful implementation of this important reform.
