      The firm I work for uses PC Law for billing. It's a boutique entertainment law firm that practices both entertainment and corporate law. Unfortunately PC Law has been really buggy for the last month and we are looking for a new billing software. Just billing.

      What software would you recommend? Why or why not?

We use EsiLaw and have for the last 20 years at our firm. We've recently mergered with a larger law firm and have been able to merge both Esilaw programs together. I wouldn't recommend it just for billing replacement as it would completely replace your PC Law and is a full accounting program including billing. But I do much prefer Esilaw over PC Law. I used to use PC Law but found it pretty buggy and updates were not as consent. I've been using Cosmolex for 4 years now and their support team is super helpful. It also has bookkeeping integrated and you can manage multiple Trust Accounts.

I now work for a larger firm that uses Aderant, which I find really difficult to use. I don't do a lot of billing anymore, just looking up information, but even that I find difficult. Esilaw was so much better. That would be my recommendation!
