This is a high-level course for any paralegal that would like to remain current with the law and expand our knowledge as it relates to family violence.
Family Violence – This course is critical for anyone that works in family law. We will look at the definition of “family violence” which includes all elements of physical and emotional violence and abuse, how to identify indicators of family violence, be aware of what screening tools to use and know how to screen for family violence. We will also look at recent decisions as to how the courts are analyzing these cases. Paralegals are a key component of the legal team on a family law matter and work closely with family law clients. This course is imperative for all family law paralegals.
The BCPA professional course outline can and should be added to your Resume and is an excellent way of increasing and strengthening your critical thinking skills. The best format of expanding our knowledge is to study multiple areas of law. Do not overlook these courses, and take the time to re-visit them on our webinar as they are FREE to all our members. We encourage you to take the time to study, read and learn the law.
We are honored to have our speaker for this Course.
